LaToya Owens is the founder and owner of Genasis Enterprises. She served in the US Air Force in the Information Management field where she began her auditing and compliance career. It was shortly after leaving the military she knew she wanted to help others by providing financial services to small businesses and individuals.

 

She has over 8 years of financial experience in both the public and private sectors and her duties included auditing, bookkeeping, financial analysis, payroll and tax preparation.

 

She received her Bachelor of Arts with a minor in Business from Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau, MO and her MBA in Accounting from American Military University in Manassas, VA. 

 

During her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, two daughters, and singing karaoke with family and friends.
